Mixed Nori Roll Recipes

Wrapper: Nori Sheet

Filling:

*Cooked rice

*How to make the rice:

2 3/4 c rice cooked with enough water (sushi rice and water ratio = 1:1)

1/4 c rice vinegar,  1 tsp soy sauce , 1/2 tsp sesame oil toasted

Procedure:

Mix the rice vinegar, soy sauce and sesame oil

Mix with the cooked rice

Set aside

*Filling:

*2 veggie hotdogs cut into 1/4 inch strips

*cucumber peeled and cut into 1/4 inch strips

*avocado peeled and sliced

*carrot strips

*Red pepper strips

*Sunflower sprouts

*Pickled ginger

*How to make the hotdog strips for the filling:

Ingredients:

2 vegetarian hotdogs cut in strips and fried

2 tsp catsup

1/4 tsp soy sauce

1/4 tsp garlic powder

2 Tbsp vegetable oil

Procedure:

Cut hotdogs in strips.

Heat the pan.

Put the oil in the frying pan.

Add all the ingredients and saute until the hotdog strips are cooked.

Fold the nori sheet to resemble a cone

Add the rice and put it inside the back of the cone

Add and arrange the filling inside the cone

Serve with dipping sauce

*How to make the dipping Sauce:

Mix 4 Tbsp soy sauce with 1/8 tsp wasabi powder

Serve with the hand roll
