Inari with Sesame seeds


NORMAL (without added sugar):

1 c rice

2 1/2 c water

1 Tbsp seasoned rice vinegar


Rice with no sugar (raisins used as sweetener)

2 and 3/4 c raisins golden (1 pack, 15 oz., 425 g)

1 tsp chipotle powder

7 and 1/2 c water

3 c rice

2 tsp salt

1 sheet nori cut into small strips

2 c carrots grated finely

3/4 c yellow peppers chopped


Wash rice and drain. Add the water. Cook until water has evaporated but not totally. Fold in the ingredients.  When well mixed, Cover for about 2 minutes and transfer to a wooden chopping board big enough to hold the amount of rice you cooked. Let cool. Transfer to a container.


Veggie Meat Onion Ginger Stir Fry:

1 can seitan or mock duck drained ( from the asian store) cut into bite size peices

1 and 1/4 c red onion sliced

2 Tbsp oil

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 Tbsp ginger, finely chopped


Put the oil in the pan. Put the heat on medium. Add veggie meat and stir fry in oil until light brown.

Broccoli Boiled

2 1/2 c broccoli chopped

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp onion powder

1/2 c water
