Redefining Vegetarian cooking
According to Wikepedia,
Vegetarianism encompasses the practice of following plant-based diets (fruits, vegetables, etc.), with or without the inclusion of dairy products or eggs, and with the exclusion of meat (red meat, poultry, and seafood). Abstention from by-products of animal slaughter, such as animal-derived rennet and gelatin, may also be practiced.
Realizing that we are all birthed here, therefore, equals, we have to look at what food really is – a substance that is used to nourish the body. We can say that vegetarian cooking is the practice of eating plant based food – such as vegetables, seeds, fruits, nuts and grains, with or without the inclusion of dairy products or eggs , with the exclusion of meat – from pig, cow, chicken and other animals. We have to realize that food is a substance used to nourish the body. Animals and plants are not here to be judged as beauty contestants and health contestants, so we have to stop judging them as better than or less than others. We have to consider the effect food has on the overall functioning of the body realizing that if we use this energy more for the mind, we are depleting the body’s resources.
